This policy explains how Elite Sign (“we”, “us”) handles personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (PDPA). It applies to this website and to enquiries and orders that start here. A Bahasa Melayu version of this policy is available through the language switch.
Who we are

What personal data we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address (optional), the type of sign you are interested in, and the message you write.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you send us, such as your name, number, shop address, photos of your shopfront, logos and artwork.
- Orders and quotations: your business name, delivery or installation address and the details needed to make, install and invoice your sign.
- Technical data: when you send the enquiry form, your IP address is used for a short time to stop spam and repeated submissions. It is not added to any list.
How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a design and quotation
- To make, deliver and install your sign, and to arrange payment
- To keep business, tax and accounting records as the law requires
- To protect this website from spam and misuse
We do not use your details for marketing messages unless you ask us to, and we do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and third parties
- This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you switch language, a small cookie may be stored in your browser to remember your choice.
- Fonts are served from this website, not from a third party.
- Google reviews shown on the site are fetched by our server and saved for a while, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.
- The map on the contact page, if shown, is loaded from Google Maps, and the WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp. These services have their own privacy policies.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only when it is needed to do the work or the law requires it: for example with our installation team, a printing or fabrication partner, our website host and email provider, or an authority that is legally entitled to ask for it. We ask these parties to keep the data safe and to use it only for the job.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for a reasonable time so we can follow up, then deleted. Records of orders, invoices and payments are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
How we keep it safe
This website uses HTTPS, a protected enquiry form and regular updates. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us card numbers, passwords or identity card numbers in an enquiry.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent or ask us to stop using it. Email us at elitesignadvertising@gmail.com or send a WhatsApp message and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue with a quotation or an order that needs that data.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Questions about it are welcome through our contact page, and you can read how we work with customers in our Terms of Use.
